About the webinar

The Environment Agency are issuing improvement conditions on permitted sites to require the secondary containment systems at AD plants to be reviewed by a competent engineer to determine their suitability in relation to the Ciria 736 guidance.  It is also common for an improvement notice to be served by the Environment Agency for the primary containment to be assessed, and occasionally an assessment of tertiary containment is also required.

This webinar will give you an understanding of what improvement conditions are being issued and the process for assessing your site and responding to the improvement conditions.

Discussion of secondary containment systems and how Ciria 736 applies to anaerobic digestion plants.

The webinar will cover the purpose of secondary containment, options for an AD plant, and inspections of existing secondary containment systems.

The webinar will also cover assessment of primary and tertiary containment systems.
