Circular procurement to reduce costs and environmental impacts - in association with the Chemical Industries Association

Tue 29 Nov, 2022

This event is being held in association with the Chemical Industries Association. More details can be found via the CIA website.

Chemicals companies are operating in a fast-moving sector and face pressures from all sides. Governments are pulling them to comply with ambitious targets and strategies; customers are pushing them to be more sustainable and responsible. In this challenging environment, businesses can make a significant and positive impact simply by re-evaluating how they work with their supply chains.

This webinar will outline how you can take practical steps to adopt circular procurement practices in your operations. This will lead to greater supply chain resilience, resilience against evolving legislation (and fluctuating costs), reduced environmental impacts and improved social benefits.

The one-hour webinar covers the following topics, with questions / discussion at the end:

  • An overview of procurement law
  • What is the circular economy and why are we moving that way?
  • What is circular procurement
  • The circular procurement process
