Archaeology & Heritage

Challenge

The IND required adapting the National Stadium for the 2024 Santiago Pan American Games, including multiple sports centers.

Solution

SLR made arrangements with the National Monuments Council and executed:

Historiographical studies of the Historical Monument.
Permanent archaeological monitoring in six sports centers.
Archaeological surveys and rescues.
Execution of 90 boreholes of 50x50 cm.

Impact

The project made it possible to modernize the country's main sports venue, preserving its heritage value and complying with the required archaeological standards.
