Biography

Megan is a highly experienced town planner based in our Brisbane office, with more than 15 years’ experience across the private sector and both local and state government. This diverse background gives her a strong understanding of planning frameworks from both a regulatory and development perspective.

Megan specialises in development approvals, planning strategy and policy implementation. She has extensive experience leading development application preparation and assessment processes, as well as contributing to the drafting of local and state planning instruments.

She works closely with clients and assessment agencies to deliver practical planning solutions and achieve efficient, commercially focused development outcomes. Megan has a particular interest in projects that involve navigating complex local, state, and Commonwealth planning and environmental legislation.

Her experience includes providing strategic advice to secure environmental approvals under the EPBC Act and guiding clients through approval and compliance processes with the Department of Climate Change, Energy, the Environment and Water (DCCEEW).

Megan’s experience across both the public and private sectors enables her to provide pragmatic, well-informed advice that helps clients navigate regulatory requirements and progress projects with confidence.
