Biography
Tomás is a Technical Director in SLR's Energy Advisory team, specializing in energy, innovation, and sustainability. With over 17 years of experience, he focuses on creating solutions, roadmaps, and implementation projects centered on carbon-free alternatives, particularly green fuels.
He brings extensive industry expertise and strategic skill to help companies and regions address their most challenging decarbonization issues.
Since 2017, Tomás has become a leader in green fuels initiatives. He has directed international green fuels roadmaps for major clients in the Mining, Pulp & Paper, and Maritime sectors. He has also developed and led large-scale 'Hydrogen Valleys' projects to identify regional and country-level decarbonization potential in South Africa, Perú, Central Chile, and North Brazil. A respected voice in energy innovation, Tomás supported public, industrial, and research partnerships, including the Net-Zero Compatible Innovations Initiative. Advised over 25 start-ups and helped leverage over $5 million USD in funding.
