Shaun Ayshford

Biography

Shaun Ayshford is based in our Brisbane office and has over 28 years of experience in the mining industry, primarily focusing on the coal sector. His expertise encompasses a wide range of skills, including exploration, open-cut mining, and underground mining. He is highly proficient in using MineScape’s Stratmodel, GDB, Open Cut software and Maptek’s Vulcan software. Shaun can also complete basic builds and interrogations using Leapfrog software.

Shaun has significant experience completing geological model and database builds and conducting SAMREC/JORC audits for clients both domestically and internationally, including a substantial number for Anglo American in South Africa and Australia. His work has involved model audits, valuations, due diligence, fatal flaw analyses, and JORC resource evaluations, mostly within the coal industry.
