Biography

Based in our Christchurch office, Aimy is a sustainability leader specialising in the circular economy. She blends behavioural science, waste minimisation, and operational excellence to deliver measurable environmental impacts. Aimy previously owned and operated her own specialist waste minimisation consultancy, creating a platform that integrated tailored waste systems and solution design with user engagement. This approach delivered significant reductions in waste to landfill, measurable increases in resource recovery, and lasting behavioural change. Today, as a lead for Sustainable Waste Management at SLR, Aimy works with many of New Zealand’s leading organisations, including major airports, national corporates, local government, and tertiary institutions, designing waste systems and waste reduction programmes that achieve long-term, tangible results.
