SLR welcomes Powerhaus Consulting to its global network

We’re delighted to announce that Powerhaus Consulting (Powerhaus) has joined SLR Consulting (Canada) Ltd. (SLR), effective August 1, 2025.

Based in Toronto, Ontario, Powerhaus is a dynamic engineering and design consultancy specializing in renewable energy solutions. Since 2018, they have delivered over 200 projects across Canada and the U.S., with a strong focus on utility-scale solar farms, battery energy storage systems (BESS), EV infrastructure, and overhead distribution connections. Their growing team of experts brings more than 100 years of combined experience and a proven track record in collaborating with clients to navigate the clean energy transition.

Powerhaus has a strong market position in Canada’s $50B renewable power engineering market including an expanding presence in the Northeast US to support cross-border projects. Their business is built on technical depth, agility, and strong partnerships, reflected by an impressive client portfolio of major companies.

This acquisition strengthens SLR’s capabilities in clean energy and grid infrastructure while creating new opportunities for growth in high-potential markets such as solar, BESS, transportation electrification, electricity transmission infrastructure and data centers.
