Building our Social Risk Management services

With sustainability goals and environmental, social and government (ESG) aims at the forefront of our business, we’re pleased to be building our Social Risk Management capability in Africa through the addition of Greg Huggins and Marco da Cunha, who have joined us from the Social Risk Management services company Nomad Consulting.

Greg and Marco provide social risk, socio-economic, community and stakeholder management, and resettlement advisory services within the context of the capital project development cycle, but also within transactions. Their skills cover policy development, and strategic and detailed planning, as well as implementation oversight. Over the last twenty years they have built up extensive experience in South Africa, Sub-Saharan Africa, and an increasingly global footprint. To date, they have worked on assignments in over 34 countries.

Greg and Marco have an extensive client base that includes; corporate clients in the mining, energy, finance, infrastructure, and agricultural sectors; and Development Finance clients such as the Asian and African Development Banks, International Finance Corporation, and the World Bank.
