Matt Raymond

Biography

Based in our Perth office, Matt is a Technical Director known for his practical, results-focused approach to complex projects. He thrives on balancing competing priorities and finding solutions that unlock a site's full potential while enhancing client outcomes.

Matt has worked on a wide range of projects in tourism, industry, and retirement living. He has helped turn underused land into busy industrial areas, revitalised tourist destinations through balancing environmental and visitor needs, and created modern retirement communities that fit in seamlessly with their neighbourhoods.

He navigates the challenges of multiple land ownerships, policy frameworks, commercial considerations, and design objectives to deliver successful outcomes for both government and private clients. Looking ahead, Matt is excited about the growth of renewable energy and the planning opportunities it presents, including battery storage and solar integration in public and private spaces.

Matt holds a Bachelor of Arts in Urban and Regional Studies from Curtin University and brings extensive experience to the team.
