The Network for Industrially Contaminated Land in Africa (NICOLA)

The Network for Industrially Contaminated Land in Africa (NICOLA) will hold its Annual Conference at the Radisson Blu Hotel, Umhlanga, South Africa on the 30th and 31st of October 2024. The title of this year’s conference is “Knowledge-based Solutions and International Drivers”. During the conference attendees will deliberate on harmonising ways of industry practice with the expanding sustainability trend. In attendance from SLR will be Andrew Gemmell, Sylvia McIntosh, Naeem Sutria, Collen Nkosi, and Livashlin Naidoo.

Sylvia McIntosh will present at the event, on the topic of “TAME – Comparative plume lengths and risk management", whilst Collen Nkosi will present on the “Integrated approach to contaminated lad assessment: Focus on lead remediation”.
