Asbestos Laboratory Services

SLR provides independent and rapid assessment NATA accredited laboratory services for asbestos.  We can assist with advice, testing and supervision and management plans for asbestos removal or control.  This work is carried out by professionally qualified consultants who are trained and experienced in asbestos work.  Many are full NATA signatories and have appeared on numerous occasions as asbestos witnesses before the courts and tribunals.

Our laboratories are NATA-accredited for both asbestos fibre counting and air volume measurement and asbestos fibre identification.  Our fibre identification service includes the analysis of materials to determine type and extent of asbestos present.

In addition to our laboratory services, we carry out on-site monitoring for asbestos fibres in accordance with the membrane filter method.  We offer a unique 24-hour / 7-day per week service.  We have a large quantity of air monitoring equipment and can handle large or small projects.  

We have the ability to set up over a dozen NATA accredited field laboratories.  This allows our clients to obtain on the spot asbestos identification services on large industrial, commercial or demolition projects.
