Our Role:

SLR professionals assisted County and State regulators with characterizing a former municipal solid waste landfill and defining appropriate post-closure monitoring requirements. SLR reviewed existing reports and regional data; revised the conceptual model of site geology and hydrogeology; identified primary contaminant transport mechanisms and flow paths; and evaluated the proposed post-closure (compliance) groundwater monitoring program.
