Newcastle Quayside is one of the most instantly recognisable urban landscapes in the world, and required the highest quality of landscape design and implementation and close cooperation with artists. The ability to recognise a sense of place and to deliver an appropriate and exciting design is fundamental to the regeneration of our cities.

Working alongside Sir Terry Farrell, the company designed £5m of public realm including the elegant sweep of a new promenade, installed sculpture to a maritime theme and recreated the historic steps of the old city.
