With education a key government priority, we are delivering a wide variety of safe, imaginative and contemporary school and university landscapes across the UK. Stimulating new environments are designed to offer a combination of active sport and play facilities, contemplative social spaces and strong sustainability / biodiversity themes to support the curriculum.

The design philosophy for Ellison Quad has been based on the principles of ‘movement’ and the passage of people flowing through the space, reflected both in the overall layout and in the arrangement of hard and soft landscape materials. Staccato bands of graduated resin bound gravel further reinforces the pronounced linear feel to the space, but curved side paths succeed in picking up all the neighbouring buildings despite some challenging level differences.
