Personal Profile:Peter studied geography and landscape architecture at Nottingham and Newcastle Universities, and had his first taste of large-scale land restoration at Newcastle City Council, reclaiming the last coal tip in the city. Moving to private practice in 1988, he tackled a number of brownfield sites, notably the reclamation of the former Vickers armaments factory at Elswick, transforming it into Newcastle Business Park. Setting up the Newcastle office (Insite Environments) in 1992, several large scale masterplanning and environmental impact assessment projects followed including an award-winning urban regeneration project at Newcastle Quayside. In recent years the company has made its mark applying new technology - particularly Virtual Reality - to improving the accuracy of visual impact assessment and encouraging inward investment.

Personal Profile:Sue has a wealth of experience working in both the private and public sectors in the UK. She was responsible for setting up a regional office in 2002 based in Knaresborough, North Yorkshire (Insite Environments). The business has grown to an office complement of 5No fulltime staff offering a range of services from landscape design to environmental assessment. Sue is involved in project management, hard and soft landscape design and implementation of a range of projects including reclamation, education, landscape management, housing renewal, environmental impact assessment and urban regeneration.
