SLR's management systems, whilst robust in areas such as financial controls, are streamlined to allow staff to take considerable responsibility for their workloads and for developing their parts of the business. All of SLR's senior managers and directors are fee earning and involved in directing key projects such that the emphasis in the company is on project delivery rather than management for its own sake.

Many people joining SLR from consultancies with rigid management systems find the lack of inter-office or inter-disciplinary rivalry a refreshing change. At SLR we work as one large team and we believe that this is the reason for our continued success. Due to this success we are able to offer an annual bonus scheme and, for senior staff that can add value to the business, we have a share option scheme.
