Who we are

SLR is an independent and employee controlled international environmental consultancy that has an unrivalled reputation for providing high quality tailored services. We are a dynamic, responsive and fast growing company with an expanding network of offices throughout the UK, Canada, Ireland and the USA.

SLR provides multidisciplinary advice from in-house experts on a wide range of strategic and site specific environmental and sustainability issues. In particular, we specialise in providing strategic advice to both public and private sector clients and have a broad base of blue chip customers in the energy, waste management, planning and development, manufacturing, mining and financial sectors.

Our strategy for the development of the company is based on organic growth, augmented by the selective acquisition of high calibre companies to strengthen and extend our technical and geographical coverage.

What we do

SLR is organised on both business sector and technical discipline lines so that we have both technical expertise and in-depth knowledge of the various business sectors which we advise.

We are able, therefore, to support our clients on major projects across the business sectors in which we specialise, with multi-disciplinary teams that work under the guidance of senior SLR professionals. Alternatively, we are able to provide expert advice on a single technical or professional issue.

We provide advice on a wide range of technical perspectives on sustainability issues relating to the need to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and to the need to potentially adapt to the impacts of climate change.

How we do it

SLR listens and understands its clients’ needs and provides first class customer care and straightforward advice. SLR is also pro-active and not afraid to make suggestions that it considers will assist its clients attain their strategic objectives.

We are also organised so that clients can regard all of our employees as a single resource pool, which can be internationally deployed so as to ensure that clients’ get the right technical professionals for their projects.
